CLEANER THAN KEVIN'S...

Earlier this week, the boys and I had a day out. After finishing a few chores around the house, we went out to upgrade to Madden NFL 22 Xbox One. They really wanted to play with the Chiefs #83, Noah Gray.

Let’s Gooooooo!

On our way home, we stopped by a new favorite place for Leigh-Ann and me (besides New Life of course)…..Kevin’s Car Wash.

There is something very relaxing about putting the car in neutral, taking a deep cleansing breath, and riding through the tunnel.

We drove out of the tunnel and into a detailing space. Four doors opened and in an instant we had vacuums running, spray bottles squirting, and hands scrubbing and wiping. In just a few minutes, our car was spotless.
Since we paid for a monthly pass about three weeks ago, we’ve been stopping at least 2-3 times per week. The more we stop, the easier the cleaning…plus we like the free breath mints…

In the past when we didn’t have a monthly pass, the time between a car wash and detail could become weeks and sometimes even months. And the longer in between car washes, the longer it takes to clean AND the less clean it gets.

But when we wash and vacuum almost every day, there is much less trash and a smaller mess to vacuum up. Getting in a dirty car is no fun, but a Kevin’s Clean Car is a beautiful experience.

Consistency is key!

The same is true with our spiritual lives. When we spend time with the Lord every day, our lives stay cleaner and our relationship with God grows stronger.

This Sunday, we continue our “Spiritual Wellness” sermon series. We will take our direction from Mark 1:35 “And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he (Jesus) departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.” We will also spend time in Hebrews 4:12-16 where we will walk through some practical ways to spend time with God every day. And in case you’re wondering spending time with God is even better than Kevin.

There is so much more for us to study, I really hope to see you on Sunday at 8:00, 9:15 (Full KidCity available), or 10:45 am, or you can watch the Livestream on YouTube (Like and Subscribe) or Facebook at 9:15 am. Additionally, we are also publishing our sermons on Spotify.

See you soon,
Troy
