About Fatherhood Foundations
Fatherhood Foundations is a training and education program that uses peer based support groups to help men become better fathers, partners, and citizens. Anyone in the Kansas City, Blue Springs, Lees Summit, or Liberty areas who wants to be a better father, man, role model, husband, or father figure is welcome. We strive to teach men anger management, conflict resolution, and co-parenting techniques so that fathers can be a central figure in their children’s lives. Fatherhood Foundations has support groups around Jackson and Wyandotte counties that guide men of all ages through valuable lessons that will help them learn how to better deal with things like paying child support, stress management, conflict resolution, mentoring, and values based decision making in an evidence based curriculum.
What is Our Vision?
To restore authentic and flourishing relationships between fathers and children. With a focus on the greater Kansas City area, we aim to fix fatherlessness one dad at a time.
What is Our Mission?
Fatherhood Foundations exists to provide instruction, inspiration, and encouragement to fathers, helping their children realize that they belong, are loved and affirmed, so that they and their children can be the best they can be. With groups in Lansing, downtown Kansas City, Independence, and Raytown we guide men through curriculum based courses that will teach them how to be a leader in their children’s lives.
