The Development Academy is for followers of Jesus Christ looking for a next step of growth, maturity, and development to actively lead and carry out the vision God has given to New Life CityChurch.

A New Life Elder or Pastor will lead the class which consists of a video teaching from “FTC Institute”, followed by discussion and interaction time. Our goal is to not only grow in our theological and biblical understanding, but to help each person identify their gifts and passions, then facilitate opportunities to use them in practical ways.  

We are passionate about creating an engaging experience where your kids can learn to know and follow Jesus.  Our mission is to, "foster an environment of care and teaching that equips children to know the Word of God and develop a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Safety is important to us, so every volunteer in our children’s ministry has passed a state of Missouri criminal background check. In addition, we also have our security team at every service to ensure your child's safety.

The New Life CityChurch mentoring program is a Christ-centered initiative designed to foster spiritual growth, personal development, and meaningful connections. Guided by our mission to provide a program rooted in biblical discipleship, we pair mentees with spiritually mature mentors to encourage, equip, and empower individuals in their faith journey.

Through authentic relationships and accountability, we aim to cultivate growth in character, purpose, and faith, reflecting the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Our program seeks to build a stronger church community by fostering deeper relationships and encouraging a life of discipleship rooted in God’s Word.

The New Life CityChurch Men’s Ministry gives men the opportunity to come together in a relaxed atmosphere along side other men.  The men’s ministry meets monthly in an effort to build a “brotherhood” where we can share our life experiences with one another and grow spiritually.  

• Monthly Breakfast happen on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00-10:15am. You can expect breakfast, coffee and conversation around a podcast.
• We host 2 retreats each year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. Our next event will be  our annual Men’s Retreat October 3-4, 2025 (Bold Manhood: Playing the Long Game.)
• We have adopted several blocks of street downtown that we spend twice a year cleaning up. It is usually 8:00 - 9:00AM the morning of a monthly breakfast.

We get together on the second Saturday of each month from 9:15am to 10:30am. From September - May, our monthly meetings are a great chance for you to engage at your own comfort level. Each session features a panel of women who openly share their experiences on the topic of the month, offering insight from their struggles and successes to inspire your walk with God.

You can enjoy our Saturday breakfasts, participate in discussions, ask questions, or simply meet new people and build friendships. If you’re looking for mentoring or guidance, we're here to help. These gatherings are a wonderful way to connect with others, grow spiritually, and find ways to serve Jesus in your current season.

At New Life CityChurch, our prayer is that our corporate worship time is an overflow of our individual worship during the week. We believe worship is more than singing; worship is our response to what we value most. It flows through every aspect of our lives.

We believe that God calls the church to gather together and worship corporately to celebrate the work of the gospel. We come together to remember God’s great story and our humble participation in it. We do this in a variety of ways including teaching, singing, prayer, giving, stories of life change, baptism, and communion.

Gather KC is for young adults (20's - 30's) looking to find Christian community.
Gather exists to see young adults equipped to know and follow Jesus, create a space for worship, build community, and live on Mission.

Each week we have worship, a short message, corporate quiet time and an intentional time for community.

Our Mission is to engage in a relationship with God; to equip them to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ; and to enjoy and share God’s love with those around them.Our Vision is that youth would be deeply rooted disciples that follow Jesus & develop a lasting foundation in Him.

We love to open up the time playing group games & enjoying snacks. We typically go through a book of the Bible & allow for plenty of discussion.

We exist to bring Christian community to young adults in the Kansas City area! We meet 6:30-8 pm on Tuesday evenings. We meet in the church coffee shop.

Weekly, we walk through God's word together and every 4th Tuesday of the month we have a fellowship night at someone's house or a game night!
