Onto Phase 4...

Phase 3 of Kid City Remodeling Complete!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our New Life family, we successfully transformed our children's classrooms and nursery into vibrant, engaging spaces where our youngest members can learn and grow in their faith.
Starting in January, as we hold services at the event space during our renovation, we’re seeking volunteers for setup, teardown, and more—sign up if you’re available to help!

Progress so far...

Phase 1

A classroom was transformed into seven functional office spaces, providing our staff with the facilities they need to serve the church better.

Phase 2

We expanded our gallery space into a welcoming area with coffee shop-style seating for up to 25 people, allowing us to accommodate larger gatherings of up to 45 people.

What to expect during the construction process for Phase 3:

During Phase 3, we will be temporarily closing the current Kid City classrooms to create an even more engaging environment for our children. However, rest assured, during this phase the auditorium space will not be affected. And our Kid City classes will still be available during both the 2nd and 3rd services, relocated to the gallery, conference room, and vow exchange spaces.

For security purposes, access to these spaces, including the bathrooms, will be restricted to Kid City participants only. Kid City check-in will be conveniently located in front of the stairway. Restrooms on the main level will still be fully accessible.
Additionally, we will be expanding our coffee service and community space out front to provide a welcoming environment and offer space for longer conversations.
While things may feel different temporarily, please rest assured that our commitment to worship, community, mission and generosity remains unchanged. The coffee will still be unlimited and served with a smile, and we'll continue to provide a safe and nurturing space for your children to learn about God's love.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this exciting phase of our renovations. We will take a few months to catch our breath and settle in before launching into phase 4.

Phase 4 & Beyond

Looking ahead, Phase 4 will involve building out the balcony in the auditorium for approximately 80 additional seats, expanding our office space, and creating a dedicated coffee shop space in the front of our facility. Our goal is to complete Phase 3 by Labor Day, or even earlier if possible.

We're incredibly grateful for your generosity, which has made this all possible. We set a budget of $500,000 for the renovations, and so far, our New Life family and friends have given more than $460,000. Praise God!

We recognize that these renovations may cause some disruption and press us out of our comfort zones. We want to thank you in advance for your investment in the future. Our goal is to point more people to Jesus every week, and this project equips us for growth now and in the future. We're already praying about launching additional New Life CityChurch locations around Kansas City Metro and beyond

We invite you to join us in person as we navigate the progress of our renovations and the continued growth of our New Life family. Your help and presence are essential to making all of this possible.
