Jason Bell
Men's Mentoring Director

"We all need people who will walk with us through the good and the hard—no one’s meant to do life alone."
A Little More About Jason
For Jason Bell, true connection happens when people feel safe enough to be real. As Men’s Mentoring Director at New Life City Church, he values the kind of fellowship where men can show up as they are—without pretense or pressure—knowing they’ll be met with respect, encouragement, and confidentiality. His heart for mentoring comes from a simple truth he was raised to believe: we are all God’s children, created uniquely, and called to love and support one another through every season of life.
Jason grew up in a home where faith was central—his father a minister, his mother creating a warm and loving home while working as needed. Through years of working in government service and navigating life’s transitions, he has learned that stability isn’t found in circumstances but in the relationships we build along the way. Family has been his anchor through every move and change, teaching him the importance of showing up for one another.
At New Life, Jason and his wife, Ellen, lead the Connect Team, making sure every person who walks through the doors feels seen and welcomed. He also leads the Men’s Mentoring program, walking alongside other men as they grow in faith and accountability.
Outside of church, Jason loves to travel with Ellen, spend time with their two daughters, and catch a Royals game whenever he can. And if he has a free day? You’ll likely find him enjoying a quiet morning, lunch with his wife, a walk at the WWI Memorial, and—of course—cheering on his team at the ballpark.
