Ellen Bell
Women's Mentoring Director

"People need a place to be real. I just try to listen, love, and make space for that."
A Little More About Ellen
For Ellen Bell, mentoring isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about showing up, listening well, and sharing life with people. As Women’s Mentoring Director at New Life City Church, she finds joy in walking alongside women, offering encouragement, and creating a space where they feel truly heard and known. She believes that authenticity—being real about struggles and victories—is what builds deep, lasting connections.
Ellen’s heart for hospitality and service was shaped by her mother, who led by example, always welcoming and helping others. Watching her mother pour into people made serving feel natural, and over the years, Ellen has found that she thrives in spaces where she can bring people together. Music also plays a big role in her faith—it’s how she stays connected to God, refreshed, and reminded of His presence.
With a background spanning healthcare, leadership, and church ministry, Ellen has led home groups, coordinated women’s ministry efforts, and helped foster a culture of connection and care at New Life. Whether mentoring, organizing gatherings, or simply making sure people feel welcome, her goal is always the same: to create a space where women feel valued and supported in their walk with Christ.
Outside of ministry, Ellen loves a good book, baking something sweet, and spending time with her husband, Jason, and their daughters, Vanessa and Valerie. Family is her foundation, and no matter where life takes them, she knows one thing for sure—there’s nothing better than sharing laughter, stories, and ice cream with the people she loves.
