Jay’s career has ranged from small startups to the Fortune 500. He has volunteered for both local churches and international charities, and is active with the local astronomy club. He was led to begin attending New Life in 2014 and currently works full time at an urban mission.

What’s your favorite movie and why? 2001: A Space Odyssey, because it got me to read the Arthur C. Clarke novel.
What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday in Kansas City? Volunteer at Powell Observatory!

Why do I follow Jesus?
Being a Jesus follower has repeatedly saved me from my own worst tendencies and given me all the meaningful, enjoyable work (that doesn’t even seem like work!), not to mention friends, that I have time and energy for.
