A little more about Gary...
Gary began his career in retail, working as the manager of his parent's shirt and tie shop in Columbia, Mo. In 1982, Gary went to work on one of Columbia's municipal golf courses, and as a result, Gary has worked on various golf courses for 20 years in the Midwest and has a degree in golf course management. Gary has been a member of New Life for 8 years and serves God’s church and its members and guests in various ways. Gary loves to spend his time away from church reading and watching sports on TV.

If I could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be? The Holy Land. I would love to walk where Jesus walked.

Why do I follow Jesus?
He is the perfect example of how I should live my life. He forgives my sins and sets me free from them. He is the key to an overcoming life. He gives me eternal life. He has prepared an eternal home for me. He gives me purpose and meaning for life. He is my everything.
Why do I love service at NLCC?
Serving allows me to take the focus off of my wants and needs and focus on the wants and needs of those people that God leads me to and how I can help them. Serving gives purpose and meaning to my life. To serve is to follow Jesus’ example. (Philippians 2:5-7) Serving gives me a reason to get out of bed every morning.
