LISTEN TO OUR YOUTH LEADERS
Matt Collier – Youth Director
I want to impact the next generation to love others well, serve joyfully for the Lord and to know God deeply in their hearts. The youth of today will become the future church and it is vastly important to raise them on sound biblical principles. I remember being a kid and being in youth group – what an impact that had for me. I love the ability to give back to kids now, remembering all that my leaders had done for me.
I believe the Lord has something powerful for the next generation. I want to be a part of that, which is why I decided to begin intentionally working with the youth. I want to see them flourish in the Lord and live a life that reflects who He is. I want to see them hungry for the Word of God and persistent in the place of prayer. The Lord is going to use these young ones to impact many. I want to help equip them to do just that.
Growing up in the church, I always wanted someone who would not only walk through my Christian journey with me, but also just do life with me. That is what I want to be for these youth. I want to walk with them through the ups and downs of life, grow them to be leaders, and point them to Jesus.
Hi, I’m Sarah Thomas! I live in North Kansas City with my husband Keaton and our goldendoodle Winnie! I love our youth kiddos, and I am passionate about creating a space where our youth can establish a firm foundation in their walk with Jesus. I want our youth to be fully equipped to continue following Jesus through college and into their professional careers. In my free time, I enjoy reading murder mysteries, training for half marathons, and eating queso.
