Volunteer Serve  Board

Our church is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team and help us fulfill our mission of serving our community and spreading the love of Christ. We have a variety of opportunities available, from assisting with church events and services to participating in outreach programs and community service projects. Whether you have a specific skill set to offer or just a willingness to serve, we welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds to join our team. As a volunteer at our church, you'll have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of others, build meaningful relationships, and grow in your faith.

Administrative

Connect Groups

Assist twice a year with preparing materials for each new CG season, printing, collating and binding.

Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning Service Coordinator works alongside and assists the ministries and Lead Pastor to ensure that each service has whatever is needed and the volunteers to provide a meaningful worship experience

Neighbors Who Care

Fielding resources from law enforcement to New Life to help individuals transition from life on the inside to life on the outside.

New Life Development Academy

Preparing weekly New Life Development Academy support materials, printing and collating handouts.

Need people to assist our single elderly or disabled women for various spring cleaning opportunities. If you can't physically help, we need mowers and others tools and possibly a truck to help, depending on requests.

Assist with contacting various local agencies to see how we might be able to partner with them to help foster children in our community.

Elevate KC

Come early and stay late to help set up and tear down events we host throughout the year.

Internal Events

The overall responsibility of the reset team is to clean and straighten up the church after Sunday services. Help with clean up after events and sewing torn chair covers.

Gather KC

Fatherhood Foundations

Come early and/or stay late to set up and tear down on Thursdays or other special events hosted or held by Gather.
Come early and stay later to set up and tear down events. We have both on and off site opportunities.

Communion

Come into church early on Sunday mornings, preparing the bread and juice trays for communion or serve communion on Sunday mornings.

Food Pantry

Assist in running the pantry on Wednesdays from 2-4PM

Housekeeping

Coffee Crew

Assist the Building Maintenance Supervisor with the church's care, maintenance, and cleaning.
Greet people in the Welcome Hub, prep, make & serve coffee

Kids City

Pick up monthly snacks ordered for the kiddos. You will not need to pay for the items, simply pick them up or once a month on the 3rd week of the month assist with deep cleaning all of KidCity

Men's Ministry

Help/plan/ prepare breakfast for the monthly mens breakfast.

Technology

Gather KC

We'd like a designated team of folks we can rotate through to help so the slides at our Thursday weekly meetings and special events.

Sunday Sound

Operations of the sound board and related sound gear during Sunday morning worship services. Time of duty would include 7:30am until the end of services of the assigned Sunday as well as 7pm-8pm the previous Wednesday for rehearsal. Previous experience in live sound would be preferred but not required.

Sunday Slides

Assist with slides and sound during Sunday services. You'd be part of the rotation and can choose what days work best for you.

Livestream

Operate livestream for Sunday morning service(s), Saturday morning New Life Development Academy (NLDA) sessions, and special events as needed. Activate camera(s) and computer, start ATEM communiation protocol (BlackMagic Design), OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), and YouTube. Multiple volunteers desired.
